The property sits in the middle of a fantastic 3-acre garden with a large fenced pond and mature trees and is wonderful to explore. There are plenty of visiting wildlife including robins, woodpigeons, rabbits, frogs, great crested newts, starlings, house martins, hedgehogs, and barn owls. There is a climbing wall, kids' play house, swings and a trampoline (used at guests' own risk). There is also a fire pit with a circle of tree stumps to sit on and admire the night sky. There are also a wide range of wonderful walks nearby and towns to visit.
Rivendell offers ample off road parking for guests to enjoy and park with ease.
Note: A public footpath runs on the top boundary of the property, so occasional walkers may be seen there but they can't see the house as it is shielded by trees.
