The property

Sea Green Cottage is an absolutely exceptional newly refurbished detached holiday home positioned on the green in Walberswick. This pet friendly property has undergone an extensive renovation to create a gorgeous 5* holiday rental. The ground floor consists of a beautiful large open plan style kitchen/living/dining area, bedroom and bathroom. Carpeted stairs lead you up to the first floor, with two further bedrooms both with en-suites. The big bonus at this property is the stunning roof garden, with views out across the green, perfect for those warmer months. The property has some wonderful history behind it, the property used to be the village shop due to it's wonderful central position in the village, it was then brought and transformed into Sea Green Cottage by film star and producer Ann Todd. Ground floor Entering through the front door, into the entrance hall, with bathroom to your left, bedroom 1 in front, and to your right is the large kitchen/living/dining room. Kitchen / Sitting / Dining Room This room is a wonderful bright and spacious area for the whole family to enjoy, it is very much the heart of the home. The kitchen is one of dreams, positioned along one side of the room, broken into two sections. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, with an electric oven with four ring induction hob and extractor fan above, integrated dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Dualit cafe plus coffee machine (Nespresso compatible pods), 70/30 fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. The property is the perfect place to look up those culinary delights! The dining table is positioned in the dining room, and can be moved out from the wall when in use. The beautiful wooden table has two long bench seats with seat cushion either side and two chairs. The sitting area is very much the heart of the room, with a incredible warm and welcoming feel, the room features three luxurious two seater sofas, with coffee table in the centre. The room is centred around the wonderful wood-burning stove, with 55'' TV above. There are in addition window seats in both the bay windows, perfect for sitting with a good book or simply watching the world go by. Bedroom 1 A beautiful light room with two full size single beds with bedside table and lamp in between. There is a large chest of drawers and will be a beach hut style wardrobe for your belongings. A door leads to a locked owners cupboard. Family Bathroom A tranquil space to enjoy a long bath after a busy day at the beach. This room features beautiful panelling around the bath with over head shower, wash basin and WC. First Floor Carpeted stairs wth hand rail lead up to the first floor landing area. Bedroom 2 This beautiful calming space featuring a luxurious king size bed, with bedside tables and stylish lamps. There will be a beach hut style wardrobe for your belongings. Bedroom 2 En-Suite With a walk in shower cubical, wash basin and WC. Bedroom 3 This light and spacious room with roof terrace access features a wooden framed king bed with bedside tables and stylish lamps. There is a large chest of draws and built in cupboard with hanging rail for your belongings. French doors lead out onto the patio garden. Bedroom 3 En-Suite With large walk in shower cubical, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Patio Garden An absolutely incredible addition to the property, with the most stunning views across the village green. This space with wonderful tiled flooring and glass privacy surround is the perfect place for those morning coffees or evening glass of wine. Please note the roof terrace is only accessed via bedroom 3. Bikes There is secure bike storage for up to 6 bikes located in a padlocked shed adjacent to the property. Parking Sea Green Cottage boasts an off road parking space, however please note this is very small and only suitable for a golf size car. Please note the parking space for Sea Green Cottage is located to the right of the Cottage, the space to the left is a neighbours space. From 1st October to 30th March there is free on street parking, opposite the property. During the summer months a residents parking permit will be made available which allows free parking at Ferry Car Park, located around 200 metres away.

About the location

WALBERSWICK

Southwold 8 miles; Norwich 30 miles

A delightful coastal village set at the mouth of the River Blyth in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve. This place is perfect for a chilled break by the sea. It offers a small range of delightful shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés to choose from. The nearest town is Southwold just a short trip over the River Blyth, it offers a good selection of amenities as well as a museum and a light house. The city of Norwich is also accessible and is well worth a visit. Walberswick is one of the few places in the UK with very little light pollution.
