Halsey is a beautiful detached self-catering holiday home positioned in the heart of Walberswick. This very family friendly property is positioned across two floors, on the ground floor is a large open plan kitchen/diner with separate dining room and sitting room. On the first floor are four bedrooms, two with en-suite and family bathroom. Halsey benefits from off road parking and large rear garden, complete with stunning sea views. Halsey is just a short walk away from the beautiful sandy beach, two fantastic pubs and delicatessen.
Ground Floor
Entering into the reception hall leading onto the kitchen.
Kitchen/Dining Room
Light fills this room through the array of windows and french doors, creating a fantastic space for family and friends to come together. A beautiful kitchen awaits the keen cooks of the group, with all of the mod-con's you could need, these include an electric oven with four ring induction hob and extractor fan above, Electric AGA, dishwasher, 70/30 Smeg fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster.
The dining space is adaptable for sophisticated dinners, leisurely lunches and jolly family meals. The wooden dining table comfortably seats 8 guests.
Living Room
This double aspect sociable space with beautiful wood-burning stove is the ideal space to retreat to at the end of the day. An array of comfortable seating awaits in the form of two three-seater sofa and three arm chairs. Alternatively you can enjoy the window seat overlooking the beautiful back garden and beyond. There is a Smart TV for you to enjoy. Whether it is a family movie night, or glass of wine by the roaring wood-burner, this room is ideal for all to enjoy.
Dining Room
With french doors opening out onto the garden, a space perfect for those special meal times, with a stunning wooden table seating six.
First Floor
Painted wooden stairs and hand rail lead up to the fist floor landing.
Bedroom 1
Located at the rear of the property, accessed through bedroom two. This spacious luxurious room with french doors offering expansive sea and countryside views, has a stylish super-king size bed with bedside tables and lamps. Wake up to the sea view followed by a morning coffee on the large balcony. A door leads into the en-suite shower room.
En-Suite Shower Room
A stunning modern shower suite awaits. A wonderful walk in shower with handheld shower attachment. In addition there is a wash basin with storage beneath and large mirror above, heated towel rail and WC.
Bedroom 2
With garden views, this room features two full sized single beds, with a bedside table and decorative lamp. There is a built in wardrobe and shelves for your belongings. Bedroom 1 is accessed through this space.
Family Bathroom
Featuring a bath with overhead shower, wash basin with mirror above, heated towel rail and WC
Bedroom 3
Located at the front of the property, this good sized space includes two full size single beds There is a built-in wardrobe for your belongings.
Bedroom 4
With beautiful sea views, this large room offers a super-king size bed with bedside tables and lamps. There is a chest of drawers and built in storage for your belongings.
En-suite Shower Room
Featuring a shower cubical, wash basin and WC.
Outside
A private gated driveway awaits, with parking for up to four cars.
Halsey benefits from an expansive beautiful large garden, mainly laid to lawn with stunning sea views, ideal for family days outside in the sunshine and enjoying a BBQ. The garden is split in two with a fence and gate separating it into two sections. Please note the far section of the garden is not manicured or maintained to the same level as the first half, and is to be used at guests own risk.
Enjoy long leisurely lunches on the patio area with outdoor furniture and charcoal BBQ.
Please note the garden houses a beautiful Victorian greenhouse, in addition to the shed and garden, this is out of bounds to guests.

A delightful coastal village set at the mouth of the River Blyth in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve. This place is perfect for a chilled break by the sea. It offers a small range of delightful shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés to choose from. The nearest town is Southwold just a short trip over the River Blyth, it offers a good selection of amenities as well as a museum and a light house. The city of Norwich is also accessible and is well worth a visit. Walberswick is one of the few places in the UK with very little light pollution.
