    “Liked the property overall, the bed was very comfortable & loved the open fire, but there were issues with facilities.”

    The heating was not on on arrival, three radiators switched off & we had to figure out how it worked to heat the house up. The bathroom was always freezing with the heated towel rail working every now and again. We did eventually learn how to turn it on but were always out before it heated up. Cooking facilities were poor. The cooker hood needs a good clean and bulbs replacing. The roasting tin and baking sheet were rusty and unusable, there are only two saucepans with lids and three small ...

Cooking facilities were poor. The cooker hood needs a good clean and bulbs replacing. The roasting tin and baking sheet were rusty and unusable, there are only two saucepans with lids and three small milk pans - why is a proper set not provided? Couldn't turn the oven on & had to phone up for instructions as there were none. Despite having three welcome folders there were no instructions for any appliances. The washing machine is not level, rocks on two feet & had to be wedged up with a book to stop it roaming around the kitchen. Had to buy an airer to hang clothes to dry. Had to buy a new plug for the kitchen sink and had to improvise a plug for the bathroom sink. Had to buy a set of allen keys to tighten up the table legs to stop it wobbling around (& potentially collapsing). The weather was poor with conditions outside very muddy. No mop was provided so, unfortunately, we couldn't clean the floors properly before we left. Towels provided are tiny & only just fitted round our waists. If we'd known would have brought our own. We enjoyed our stay overall, we don't usually let poor facilities dampen our enjoyment, but are very disappointed to have again paid a high price for a UK holiday property that fell short. The location is lovely but is definitely not worth the money we paid.

3 Albion Cottage is an ideal coastal retreat located in the heart of Walberswick, with the sandy beach and two fantastic pubs just a stones throw away! In addition Walberswick offers a beautiful village green, organic cafe, shops and is famous for crabbing! Entering through the front door into the stylish yet comfortable sitting room, with everything you need to relax. Leading on from the sitting room is the open plan kitchen/diner with additional seating area. The cottage has a large garden with seating areas to three sides, allowing guests to enjoy the sun as it moves around. There is off road parking at the back of the holiday cottage. Ground floor Entering into the sitting room with kitchen/diner beyond. There is hard flooring throughout the ground floor. Sitting room Located at the front of the property, this homely sitting room offers a tranquil space to relax in, with two sofas, feature fire place and Smart TV. Kitchen/Diner With an additional seating area, this room offers a space for the whole family to come together, beautifully decorated with a mixture of old and new. The kitchen has everything needed to cook up a storm, with an electric oven with four ring hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. Sit back and enjoy those culinary delights at the farmhouse style table, comfortably seating four. Shower Room A modern shower suite awaits, with a large walk in shower, wash basin with mirror above, heated towel rail and WC. First Floor Steep straight carpeted stairs with hand rail to either side leads to the first floor landing. Bedroom 1 To the rear of the property, over looking the garden. This room has been beautifully decorated, with the room benefiting from the afternoon sun. Their is a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps, wash basin and chest of drawers for your belongings. Bedroom 2 Located at the front of the property with glimpses of the sea, perfect for both adults and children to enjoy. This room offers two full size single beds with bedside table and lamp in-between. Their is a chest of drawers and wardrobe for your belongings, as well as a basin. Outside 3 Albion Cottage benefits from a wonderful garden, enjoying the afternoon sunshine. There is an outdoor table and chairs with a parasol located on the patio area. Please note there is shared access at the rear of the terraced cottages for neighbors to take bins in and out. There is a permit for a nearby car park provided for one car. Additional cars will need to be parked on nearby roads or local car parks.

A delightful coastal village set at the mouth of the River Blyth in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve. This place is perfect for a chilled break by the sea. It offers a small range of delightful shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés to choose from. The nearest town is Southwold just a short trip over the River Blyth, accessible via the foot ferry, or by walking/cycling across the foot bridge. It offers a good selection of amenities as well as a museum and a lighthouse. Walberswick offers both the beautiful sandy beach, as well as the stunning heathlands just waiting to be explored.
