    “A great little getaway location.”

    The lodge was clean and tidy, comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen equipment. The owners couldn't have been more helpful when we needed to slightly change our dates. The only downside was how wet the floor of the wet room gets, as evidences in the blowing of the bottom of the bathroom cabinet door. A long handled squeegee to push the water towards the drain rather than it pooling would be beneficial

Together, Buttercup and Clover Lodge can sleep up to eight guests and are a perfect break for those looking to experience Suffolk’s magnificent coastline. Both lodges are wheelchair friendly with a ramp access and benefit from lush surrounding gardens with furniture, providing an idyllic setting. Gather in the social open-plan living space after a day of exploring, getting comfortable on the settee whilst the chef of the group impresses in the kitchen, utilising a handy selection of appliances to prepare something tasty. Leiston is located in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast and offers excellent links to the popular seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. The town thrived by manufacturing steam tractors, and cast and machined metal products, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The town is now home to many of the workers of the nearby power plant, Sizewell, and is served well by an active leisure centre and the oldest purpose-built cinema in Suffolk, which today offers the latest digital 3D projection systems! The 14th century remains of Leiston Abbey lie northwest of the town and its high street has a good range of shops, banks, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, plus a Post Office and a library.
