The property

The Teepee is a wonderfully refurbished holiday home located in central Southwold, with views across Bartholomew Green. The property has undergone a renovation to create a bright and welcoming three bedroom holiday let, perfect for adults and children to enjoy. On the ground floor is a large kitchen/dining area and separate sitting room. On the first floor are three bedrooms and family shower room. Selected rooms benefit from views of Bartholomew Green and Church. The property is centrally located, just a short walk away from the beautiful sandy beach and vibrant high street, full of wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. Ground Floor Entering into the property from Victoria Street, into the long hallway. To your left is the sitting room, and straight on leads you to the kitchen/dining room. Sitting Room Located at the front of the property with dual aspect views, with shutter blinds allowing you to adjust the light in to the room. This warm and inviting room offers space for everyone to sit back and relax. There is a luxurious L-shaped sofa with a wooden coffee table. There is a TV for your entertainment. Kitchen/Dining Room A bright and spacious room, with bay window looking out onto Bartholomew Green. The kitchen is well equipped with all of the mod-con's needed to cook up a storm, this includes an electric oven with 4 ring hob and extractor fan above, slim-line dishwasher, 70/30 fridge-freezer, wine cooler, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a large wooden dining table and seating for 6 guests, the perfect spot for enjoying those culinary delights that have been created in the kitchen area. First Floor Stairs lead up to the first floor landing area, with three bedrooms and family shower room. Bedroom 1 Located at the front of the property, with dual aspect views. This beautifully decorated room offers a tranquil space to enjoy, with king size bed and upholstered headboard, with bedside tables and decorative lamps. There is a luxurious crushed velvet chairs, perfect positioned to enjoy the views on offer. This room also features an original feature fireplace. Bedroom 2 Located at the rear of the property, with views across Bartholomew Green. This room is perfect for both adults and children, with two full size metal frame single beds. There is a storage unit available for your belongings, with three draws and hanging rail. Bedroom 3 Featuring a single bed, with bedside table and lamp. Shower Room A wonderful space, with corner shower unit, WC and wash basin. Outside Whilst there is no allocated parking with this property, on road parking can be found along Victoria Street (some is on a limited time scale), East Green and Cumberland Road.

About the location

SOUTHWOLD

Lowestoft 13.4 miles; Ipswich 35.1 miles

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
