The open-plan kitchen/diner is stunning with a stylish fully fitted kitchen forming the heart of the home together with a separate extensive dining room. Choose from a relaxing ground floor lounge or the sociable first-floor sitting room. Both have ample seating and offer a welcoming space to either get together and socialise or to get find a quieter space to chill out.
The enclosed rear courtyard provides a much-needed outside space to enjoy the Suffolk sunshine and indulge in some drinking and dining alfresco.
When bedtime calls, there is a bedroom to suit everyone, with a king size, two double-sizes, a twin and a bunk room; all are beautifully presented and especially inviting. There is nowhere nicer to lay your weary head at night or to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and raring to go.
The location of Elkhorn is just perfect being close to the beach, pier and amenities of the town of Southwold.
Ground Floor
Guests are welcomed from Dunwich Road into a high ceilinged hallway with wood effect flooring and traditional wooden staircase with wooden handrail leading to the first floor. The hallway has doorways opening to the kitchen, dining room, living room and cloakroom.
Kitchen/Breakfast Room
Located at the rear end of the hallway is a generously sized kitchen with dining area, perfect for breakfast and those light meals. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric double oven, gas hob & extractor, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a dining table seating 6, with an additional two seats at the breakfast bar. To the rear of the kitchen a door opens to a lobby where you can access the outside patio area via the back door, the lobby also has a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer as well as access to the ground floor shower room.
Shower Room
Ideally positioned to wash off those sandy toes after a long day at the beach. There is a wet room style shower, wash basin and downstairs WC.
Dining Room
A space for the whole family to come to enjoy quality meals and the social gathering. There is a beautiful wooden dining table comfortably seating eight.
Lounge
A wonderfully light and spacious living room with a beautiful bay window offering glimpses of the sea and lighthouse. This room offers a two-seater sofa with two arm chairs. There is a TV with Freesat for your entertainment, and a music player for radio and Bluetooth music for streaming.
First Floor
Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing area, with two additional steps towards the front of the house.
Sitting Room
Located at the front of the property, with lighthouse views and french doors opening out on the balcony offering, beautiful sea views. This wonderfully light and spacious room offers a two-seater sofa, a four-seater sofa, two arm chairs with an array of coffee and side tables. There is a TV with basic Sky package and a DVD player for your entertainment.
Bedroom 1
Located at the rear of the property, this tranquil room offers a double bed with bed-side tables and lamps. There is a wardrobe and chest of drawers for your belongings.
The door layout allows for this bedroom to be a private bedroom with access to a family bathroom or become a separate bedroom and bathroom suite.
Family Bathroom / En-Suite Bathroom
This fantastic size bathroom with stylish flooring has a classic bath with over-head shower, WC, washbasin, heated towel rail and large window with frosted glass.
Bedroom 2
This stylish, generous sized bedroom has a Victorian style king size bed with bedside tables and wall lamps, a chair, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe for your clothes and belongings.

Accessible from both the landing and Bedroom 2, there is a large walk in shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Second floor
Carpeted stairs rise from the first to second floor landing with doors to three further bedrooms.

With views across Southwold's rooftops, this room offers a chic double bed with bedside tables and lamps. In addition this room offers a built-in wardrobe for your belongings and a wash basin.
Bedroom 4
With stunning lighthouse views, this room is perfect for both adults and children to enjoy with two full size single beds. There is a bedside table and lamp, with a wardrobe and chest of drawers for your belongings.
Bedroom 5
With lighthouse views, this room offers bunk beds which are suitable for small children only. Please note this property offers accommodation for a maximum of 8 guests.
Outside
The front door to this substantial seaside holiday home opens on to a pretty front paved garden with rose bushes and pathway directly off Dunwich Road. There is unrestricted on road parking on a first come first served basis.
There is a spacious courtyard patio to the rear, with dining furniture provided for dining alfresco. Rear access to the property via a pedestrian gate is ideal when returning from the beach with buckets, spaces and deckchairs or if you have bicycles.

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
