    Well appointed with everything needed for a stay. Centrally positioned with the High Street, Seafront & pier all within a 5 minute walk. On street parking but our group involving three vehicles had no problem in finding spaces in the street. Recommended & would stay again!

37 Stradbroke Road is a truly gorgeous Victorian Southwold Holiday Home, filled of lots of unique pieces of artwork and fabulous antique items. The property has been extended to create a large bright and spacious kitchen/living/dining area leading out into the garden. 37 Stradbroke Road boasts three generous size bedrooms all with en-suites, ideal for friends and family looking to get away to Southwold.. The owners have lovingly renovated this property taking into consideration all of the final details, including all lighting on dimmer switches so that you can create the perfect ambiance during your stay. You are firstly welcomed into the spacious, long hallway, with the living room at the front, ground floor bedroom with a shower room, and at the rear the spacious kitchen/living/dining area with outside space accessible through the sliding doors. On the first floor you have two spacious bedrooms both with en-suites. The outside space has been designed to create a perfect area for dining alfresco, with outside seating on the patio area, which is beautifully lit up at night by fairy lights and spotlights. Ground Floor Entering the property off of Stradbroke Road, you enter in the spacious hallway with beautiful high ceilings, this leads you by the living room and ground floor bedroom, into the extended social kitchen/dining/living space. Living Room This bold and striking room with light flooding through the bay window is the perfect space to sit and unwind at the end of the day, brimming with fantastic artwork by Olga Lehmann and Fred Dubery. There is a elegant original fire place, perfect for those chilly evenings. The room features two two-seater sofas and an armchair, there are floor standing lights to allow you to set the perfect lighting, with the main light being controlled by a dimmer switch. There will be a Smart TV for you entertainment. Ground Floor Bedroom Ideally located on the ground floor, this king size bedroom has been careful decorated to create a calming and relaxing space to unwind, with the added luxury of a private courtyard garden and en-suite. There is a wooden framed king size bed with side lights, perfect for late night reading. Ample storage is provided in the large chest of drawers. The room boasts an elegant fire place, however please note that this is not in use. The courtyard is accessible through the glass double french doors, with a small table and chairs positioned in the courtyard for you to sit back and enjoy. Shower Room The room has a luxurious rain fall shower cubicle, WC and wash basin with mirror and shelving above. Please note the lights in this room are on a motion sensor. Open Plan Living/Kitchen/Dining Area The perfect space to enjoy quality time with family and friends. The stylish kitchen decorated in a gorgeous grey, with contrasting yellow wall runs parallel along the kitchen/dining space, with all of the amenities you could wish for, including a Bosch oven, 5 ring induction hob with extractor fan above, Neff integrated dishwasher, microwave and large American style Fridge/Freezer with ice compartment. Light floods into this room through the two skylights and the sliding doors at the rear. There is a large mango wooden table with 6 chairs in the centre of the room, with the walls full of gorgeous artwork by Fred Dubery, Bernard Cheese, Peter Blake, Edward Bawden and Coldwar Steve. At the rear of this room is a second seating area, with large leather sofa and three arm chairs. Sliding doors here lead out onto the garden. First Floor The partially carpeted stairs lead up to a split level first floor with wooden flooring throughout. Vibrant artwork adorn the walls of the stairs, including David Gentleman, Fred Dubery. Twin Bedroom Positioned at the rear of the house, this room features two full size single beds with bedside wall lamps and table, there is then David Gentleman artwork above. This room is beautifully designed with a modern twist but also vintage touches, including 1950's curtains. There is a double built in cupboard for your use. En-Suite Shower A luxurious space, filled with gorgeous mode bathroom items, including a walk in rainfall shower, WC and wash basin with large mirror above. King Size Bedroom A truly luxurious bright and spacious room with large bay window. There is a deluxe wooden framed king size bed, with floating shelves either side, with wall lamps above, there is also a beautiful handmade artwork above the bed created by the owners. There is ample storage provided in the built in cupboard and wardrobe. En-suite Bathroom This lavish bathroom is one of dreams, with the perfect bath with rain fall shower above, with glass shower screen. There is then a gorgeous corner chair, WC and wash basin with extravagant mirror above. The wonderful artwork continues in this room, with some of the items also handmade by the owners. Outside The outside space has been transformed, creating a place to unwind and enjoy dining alfresco. Sliding glass door lead out onto the patio area with outdoor seating, the rest of the garden will be designed using shingle. There is a gate leading out onto the alley so guests can leave bikes in the garden at there own risk. Unfortunately there is no allocated parking, however Stradbroke Road is completely unrestricted and usually available.

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
