You know you’re somewhere special as soon as you step foot into the long hallway with an attractive Victorian tiled floor with drawing room to the right, coat cupboard and cloakroom to the left and grand kitchen/dining/breakfast room through folding doors straight ahead of you. Carpeted stairs rise to the first floor.
Kitchen/Dining/Breakfast Room
This dream bespoke L shaped kitchen is sure to be the hub of your holiday with beautiful units housing an AGA, fridge, three drawer freezer, electric oven and microwave plus a dishwasher and the sink in the sociable central island and a wall-mounted TV. A large handsome table and chairs sits at one side, conducive to leisurely meals with friends and family whilst at the other side of the L is a trestle table with benches for more relaxed meals or simple suppers. Folding doors on both sides give a wonderful indoor/outdoor lifestyle in warmer weather.

Drawing Room

Guests can certainly make the most of the stunning seascape views from this gorgeous room with full-length windows allowing the light to stream in and a door to a balcony. A parquet floor is adorned with rugs and casual furnishings in soft tones make this a more casual space than in the drawing-room with the wall-mounted TV and comfy corner sofa encouraging all the family to enjoy a movie, play a board game or simply chill and chat!
Balcony Bedroom (Bedroom 2)
This is the smallest of the bedrooms however, the views and balcony make up for the size. A super king-size zip and link bed can be set up as a twin on request and there is also roll out under bed storage and there's a storage space in a built-in wardrobe.
Courtyard Bedroom (Bedroom 3)
Light double aspect room overlooking the courtyard, simply furnished with a super king size zip and link bed can be set up as a twin on request and there is also roll out under bed storage. As this room has the en-suite shower room it's better suited to couples with Bedroom 2 allocated for the children, so please be sure to select the choice of super-king or twin configuration when you book.

A lovely courtyard sits at the back, giving plenty of room for meals in the sea air with doors from the kitchen/dining room. For added luxury, you can book the owners' beach hut, Escapade, with a 25% discount extended to guests at 28 South Green. Tucked behind 28 South Green is Harriets Cottage a cute cottage which can be booked in conjunction with 28 South Green to sleep 12 guests in total.

Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
