The property
Green Gate Cottage sits in a perfect position in the heart of Reydon, just a short walk from the iconic seaside town of Southwold, perfect for a traditional seaside holiday with family and friends.
The cottage is child friendly with a range of baby and toddler equipment available to book (this includes a travel cot, high chair, toddler bathroom step x 2, play mat, changing mat, baby bath, toddler cutlery/crockery, messy mat).
The front door leads into a hallway with doors to the large open plan living/dining room and kitchen; there's also a cloakroom and conservatory on the ground floor. Upstairs are three bedrooms (1 king, 1 double and 1 twin) and a bathroom.
The enclosed garden to the rear is spread across different levels, with a table and chairs.
Living/Dining Room
This welcoming and spacious room offers plenty of space for it's six guest capacity. The owners have provided ample electrical items for guests entertainment, including a TV with Amazon Fire TV Stick, DVD player with an array of DVD's and PlayStation 2. There is comfortable seating provided around the open fire.
There is a large dining table for seating six provided, a perfect space for family meal time.
Kitchen
Featuring everything you need to cook up a storm, this includes an electric oven and four ring hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Tassimo coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A stable door leads through to the conservatory.
Cloakroom
Contemporary WC and washbasin.
Conservatory
A wonderful space to retreat too with a good book whilst enjoy looking out on the garden. There are two wicker chairs and table provided.
First Floor
Stairs from the ground floor hallway lead up to a first-floor landing and doors to the bedrooms and bathroom. Please note there are multi levels with a few steps leading into selected bedrooms.
Bedroom One
This spacious bedroom offers a feature king size four-poster bed, with bedside tables and lamps. There is ample storage with a large built-in wardrobe and a beautiful dressing table. There is a perfect reading corner provided with a comfortable two-seater sofa, in addition there is a TV with an Amazon Fire TV Stick for guests to enjoy.
Bedroom Two
There are two single beds, a bedside table between, a wardrobe for storage and an original fireplace (not in use).
Bedroom Three
This small double bedroom room overlooks the garden, with a wardrobe and chest of drawers for your belongings. With the addition of a TV with a Amazon Fire Stick for guests to enjoy.
Bathroom
A modern white bathroom suite with a bath with a shower over it, a hand basin, electric shaver point and WC.
Outside
There's an enclosed garden to the rear with raised levels. A perfect space for dining alfresco in the sunshine, utilising the outdoor furniture and bench.
Parking
Whilst there is no allocated parking, guests can typically park outside the property or towards the side of the property in the cul-de-sac.
Games Table
A games table is available to hire at £10. The games table includes billiards, push hockey, shuffle ball, backgammon, bowling, table tennis, chess and checkers.

REYDON
Southwold 1 mile.
The village of Reydon is adjoined to Southwold, one of north Suffolk's most beautiful and popular seaside towns. The market town of Southwold is known for its iconic whitewashed working lighthouse, restored pier, brightly coloured beach huts and the harbour where you can purchase freshly caught fish for your tea. The areas surrounding Reydon and Southwold offer many places to visit, whilst walkers, cyclists, and bird watchers can enjoy the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coastline with unspoilt heath lands and nature reserves including RSPB Minsmere. The nearby fashionable seaside town of Aldeburgh offers independent shops and galleries and along the seafront is Moot Hall, home to its museum and The Scallop, an interlocking sculpture dedicated to Benjamin Britten. Two miles from Aldeburgh is Thorpeness where you can spend a day boating on the magical Century Meare with its Peter Pan themed islands. Both the cities of Ipswich and Norwich are within easy driving distance.
