“Website says 'within Peasenhall village' - not true, it is approx 1.”
5 miles outside the village, and the road (A1120) is quite busy with no footpaths so it would not be advisable to walk into village especially at night. 5 miles outside the village, and the road (A1120) is quite busy with no footpaths so it would not be advisable to walk into village especially at night. Photos give impression that cottage stands in the middle of a field, whereas the back wall it is only about 12 feet from the road, so it really is quite noisy especially in morning and evening rush hours. Website says dog and toddler friendly, whereas the 3 rail fence has not mesh on it and there is an opening for a gate but no gate, so had to keep dog tethered up! Front wall all glass, no blinds or curtains, so like a goldfish bowl. Good large shower but could do with a non-slip mat, a shelf for shampoo etc, and a grabrail. Nice hedged footpaths around the fields opposite are very handy for dog-walking. TV too small for size of Lounge. Overall comfortable and a good base for touring the area (Southwold, Framlingham, Saxmundham etc). From the Visitors books, going back to 2020, the owners would appear to have not taken on board most of the written criticisms, several of which are repetitive.
