    “Church Farm Barn is a fabulous rental property and we had the best time in this lovely house.”

    As a group of 8 (4 couples) it was perfect in size having 4 en-suite bedrooms, a large kitchen/diner, a separate TV room and a large lounge. Everything was modern and spotless. We loved the area as it was peaceful, with beautiful walks on the beach 5 mins from the house, a great local pub and within easy reach of Southwold and Aldeburgh by car. We would highly recommend it.

Church Farm Barn has been superbly renovated to create an impressive holiday home on the outskirts of the coastal village of Dunwich. It has been carefully renovated and furnished to create a holiday home for extended families and friends to enjoy. Boasting a large kitchen/dining room with space to enjoy wonderful culinary delights. There are two sitting areas for guests to enjoy, whether it is the more formal sitting room for the adults or the snug which is perfect for movie nights. Church Farm Barn boasts five bedrooms all with their own bathroom, making it perfect for a variety of different groups to enjoy. Church Farm Barn sits in a quiet spot on the edge of the village, with a private garden, ample parking and just a short walk to the beach and traditional pub. Dunwich is an idyllic location for a holiday; once a bustling seaport, it's now a peaceful village surrounded by forest and heathland next to RSPB Minsmere. With a traditional country pub and long stretches of shingle beach and seaside tea rooms renowned for their fish and chips. This self-catering holiday home sits on the outskirts of the village on a retired farm next to the church, surrounded by woodland. Ground Floor Entering into the spacious hallway with space for shoes and coats to be stored. The property is all located on the ground floor with hard flooring throughout, with the exception of the twin bedroom which is located on the first floor. Kitchen/Dining Room A simply stunning space to enjoy, with doors opening out onto the courtyard garden. The bespoke designer kitchen has been carefully designed and fitted with everything you need to cook up a storm, with a two single ovens, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, four ring hob with built in extractor fan. Outdoor Games Area An open bay cart shed housing a full size table tennis table with wicker sofa and two arm chairs to sit and join in the fun.

Saxmundham 6 miles; Southwold 9 miles; Aldeburgh 15 miles.

Westleton is an idyllic village near the Suffolk coast, nestled between Southwold and Aldeburg and offers all the attributes you could hope for in a Suffolk village, with a village green complete with pond and ducks. The village is easily accessible from the local train station at Darsham approximately two miles away. The village has a store, a bookshop where you can also enjoy a tea or coffee whilst browsing, an old fashioned garage, as well as two pubs, The White Horse Inn and The Westleton Crown, one of Suffolk’s best traditional inns where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate held their first wedding anniversary. Every August, Westleton hosts the infamous Barrel Rolling Fair where contestants have to roll barrels down the Village Green using a pole, and the men have to roll the barrel back up the hill too. Barrels are supplied and all are welcome to join in! The local Emmerdale Farm Shop and Butchery as well as a tea shop is approximately a mile away. The area is a haven for nature lovers with Westleton Heath National Nature Reserve, Dunwich Forest, Dunwich Beach with its famous fish and chip shop located on the beach, and the RSPB Minsmere, all close by. The town of Saxmundham, 6 miles away, is located on the River Fromus, in the heart of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast and is well serviced with independent shops, supermarkets and a train station, as well as art galleries, a weekly market and a farmers’ market.
