    The listing is accurate and it is good value for money. It is a lovely well maintained and peaceful site. It's as close to the sea as the pictures! The chalet was basic as you would expect at this end of the budget but clean and gave us a great base. Some of our break was very chilly but the heaters worked well.so is an all year property.     The listing is accurate and it is good value for money. It is a lovely well maintained and peaceful site. It's as close to the sea as the pictures! The chalet was basic as you would expect at this end of the budget but clean and gave us a great base. Some of our break was very chilly but the heaters worked well.so is an all year property. The shower is great. Previous visitors had not reported it was not working properly. We managed ok and it was fixed on our last day and will be lovely. The owners were responsive to issues raised and got people to check things out quickly so do bother letting them know about any issues during your stay rather than just 'putting up with'. All the previous review suggestions were in place. The oven and hob all worked great- the oven looked like it had barely been used. As previous reviews said the kitchen equipment is a bit basic if you actually want to cook. We ended up buying our own saucepan and took a few bits after previous reviews. Only one small end wall cupboard for food storage so may be a challenge for a family. There was plenty of built in storage space in the bedroom and lots of stick on hooks for lighter items. Given how tight storage space was in the lounge/ kitchen, it was frustrating that there was an unusable fridge freezer plonked in the lounge right in front of the coat hooks leaving nowhere to store coats and shoes/ walking gear. The other thing that was frustrating is the front door is full frosted glass. This had no blinds or curtains and was right opposite the bathroom door. In the day time/ summer this is fine. At night with a light it meant zero privacy as anyone could see straight in to the lounge and area between bathroom and bedroom doors in particular. We ended up temporarily covering it with lining paper... We fed this back and may be resolved now. It's little practical things like this that elevate somewhere from 'budget'! All the cleaning equipment you need available. Unfortunately, it absolutely stunk of 'dog' after the hoover was used. There were also dog hairs visible in the carpet. Possibly one to avoid if you have an allergy? Nothing to do with the chalet but be aware direct walking access onto the beach is not possible for a few hours prior to high tide as the narrow concrete path accessible by metal steps floods. The free North Beach car park is only 3 or 4 minutes drive or a short 15 minute road walk to the access steps near Gunton Warren car park. Gunton Warren nature reserve walk up the road and great wooded area for walks that I think would be great for dogs!

    Well there were a few problems you encountered and as you say we did fix them as soon as possible. The fridge is working, and is in place so that you can store at least a weeks fresh food. I am glad to hear that you found all 3 of the beach entrances. Corton beach is wonderful and wild. I will feed back to the cleaner and make sure the hoover is emptied and cleaned after a visit from our K9 friends. Thanks for taking the time to feedback. We will review the kitchen equipment again and replace anything that needs it. Property Owner

Park up in the public car park, before making your way through the delightful grounds of the park, reaching your new abode. Travel south to tour the Lowestoft Maritime Museum, before enjoying a bag of fish and chips along the South Pier, whilst the Norfolk Broads are a car journey away, brimming with nature-filled walking trails and riverside vistas along River Yare. Round off your break by stopping off at Great Yarmouth, home to an abundance of seaside attractions, with its golden shoreline, bustling Britannia Pier, a plethora of shops and eateries, and the Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach all awaiting.
