“We had a pleasant stay at The Lodge in Hadleigh.”

There were four bedrooms, all ensuite. It was clean, warm, cosy and very tastefully decorated. It offered private off road parking. The bed linen and towels were lovely and the beds were comfortable. It was also very quiet so no noise from the road. Although there were well lined curtains in the lower bedroom and one top bedroom and blinds in the other two bedrooms they did not block the light meaning a very early awakening which we are not used to. The kitchen was well equipped. A larger pan ...

A larger pan and an extra baking tray would have been welcome. The Lodge is in the middle of the owners' very well tendered and lovely garden but this means there is limited privacy. The owners were not over friendly but polite enough. There was some confusion for us at first regarding price as we found the Lodge online and phoned the property to get a price but then discovered it cheaper on Sykes. We were however more than happy to book directly with Sykes as we have had good experience with them.
