We're delighted to introduce Shell Cottage, a period cottage on Aldeburgh High Street which has been tastefully renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated for guests wishing to be close to the town's charming shops, restaurants and of course the beach. It is well-equipped with three bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms.
Ground Floor:
The front door leads into a large living/dining room with two brown leather sofas (a 2-seater and a 3-seater), a large granite-topped oak dining table with seating for six, a wood burning stove, flat-screen TV and DVD/CD player.
Beyond the living room is a hallway leading to the kitchen, shower room and stairs to the first floor.
The kitchen has beautiful handmade kitchen units, oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer (under the stairs), dishwasher and washing machine. A stable door leads out to a small patio area with just enough room for a table and chairs.
The shower room has a large shower, wc, sink and heated towel rail.
1st Floor:
A small landing leads to three bedrooms and a bathroom.
Bedroom 1: 2 single beds
Bedroom 2: a double bed
Bedroom 3: a single bed
The bathroom has a three-quarter length bath, sink, w.c. and a heated towel rail.
On-road parking is usually available in nearby side streets.
About the area
Shell Cottage is located towards the North end of Aldeburgh's popular High Street. The beach, as well as Aldeburgh's shops, pubs and restaurants are all a short stroll away.
What's included?
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The property is equipped with gas central heating, a wood burning stove in the living room, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine.
A travel cot is available on request.
Restrictions: Sorry no pets, smoking or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.
Tariff
£450 to £840 a week depending on the time of year. Shorter breaks are available when there is late availability - please check the online calendar for details.

2. Make a provisional booking by clicking on your arrival date, then click on your departure date. You will then be prompted to fill out a booking form. Only dates that are underlined can be selected as arrival and departure dates. For enquiries about other dates please email or call us.
3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
