About the property

This enchanting apartment, ideally located on Aldeburgh’s High Street is stylishly furnished and benefits from an enclosed patio garden.  It is ideal for two couples as it has two double bedrooms on separate floors, both with their own shower rooms.

The first floor has an open plan living/dining/kitchen and a double bedroom and en suite shower room.  The second floor has a bedroom with a king size bed and a shower room.  Outside there’s a patio with a table and chairs.

The Accommodation

Ground floor:  Stairs from the front door lead up to the first floor hallway.

First floor:

Open plan living/dining/kitchen:  This room successfully combines three functions in one and it feels spacious and well proportioned.  There’s a three seat sofa and an armchair, a dining table with four chairs, a TV with Sky Freesat channels a DVD player, CD player and Ipod docker.  There are two big sash windows overlooking the high street – ideal for people watching – and an original fireplace, although the fire is not in use.  The kitchen area has a fitted ceramic hob and electric oven, a slimline dishwasher and a fridge.

Bedroom 1: This is a lovely small double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.  There’s a double bed with a bedside table with drawers and a wardrobe with drawers just outside the bedroom in the hallway.

En-suite to Bedroom 1: There’s a shower, a w.c. and a hand basin.

Second floor: Stairs from the first floor hallway lead up to the second floor.

Bedroom 2:  A spacious bedroom in the eves with a king bed.  There are two velux windows in the sloping ceiling that look over the high street with a glimpse of the sea between the roof tops.  There’s a wardrobe, bedside tables, an armchair and a dressing table with funky square mirrors and drawers directly outside the room.

Shower room:  With a shower, w.c. and a hand basin.

Outside:  There’s a courtyard patio with a table and chairs to the rear of the property.  Access to the property is down a pedestrian pathway from the High Street and the property has private access through the rear garden.  The apartment is directly above Bedfords Estate Agents.  On-road parking is usually available in nearby side streets.

This holiday accommodation is situated centrally located in the midst of Aldeburgh’s popular restaurants and shops and close to the beach.

What's included?

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen and towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and savory biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The property is equipped with efficient electric radiators, an electric hob and oven oven, fridge (but no freezer), slimline dishwasher, a flat screen TV, Sky Freesat, DVD player, CD player and an Ipod docking station. The apartment is carpeted throughout except for the shower rooms. 

Restrictions and notes:

Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.  This property does not accept children or infants of any age.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
