About the property
This house has a wonderful location on Aldeburgh’s sea front, with uninterrupted sea views and is just a couple of minutes walk away from the town’s popular shops and restaurants.
Downstairs there’s a living room and open plan kitchen-dining room, upstairs there’s a king bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a small double bedroom and a shower room.
It’s reputed that James M Barrie, author of Peter Pan once stayed here.
The Accommodation
Ground Floor:
Living room: The front door leads from the sea front into the living room and there’s a large sash window looking out to the beach. There are two sofas, a coffee table and a fireplace (not in use). A step leads down to the kitchen-dining room.
Kitchen/Dining room: This large open plan room has a dining table and seating for four people, a built-in electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge with a freezer compartment.
First floor:
Stairs lead from the living room to the first floor landing.
Bedroom 1: With breathtaking sea views, this room has a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, and a wardrobe. French doors open up to decorative balcony railings so you can make the most of those stunning sea views.
En suite: Attached to Bedroom 1, this room enjoys sea views and has a bath with a hand held shower attachment, w.c. and hand basin.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom has a small double bed (4 ft wide) with a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Shower room: A small room with a shower, w.c. and a hand basin.
Outside: There’s a small courtyard to the rear of the property with a table and chairs and room to store bicycles, with access onto King Street. On road parking is usually available immediately outside the house or in nearby side streets.

This self catering holiday cottage in Aldeburgh has an enviable position on the sea front with breathtaking sea views. The town’s boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries are just a couple of minutes away.
What's included?
All rental prices include bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The property is equipped with gas central heating, TV, DVD player, CD/radio player, electric hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, combined washing machine and tumble dryer and a pay phone. A travel cot is available on request.
Restrictions and Notes
Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.
Please note that Bedroom 2 has a 4 foot wide small double bed, not a standard double bed which would be 6 inches wider. The property is ideal for three people but could sleep up to four people at a squeeze.
Tariff
£490 to £985 week depending on the time of year. Short breaks are sometimes available – check the availability calendar for up to date information and to book online.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
