About the property

This delightful cottage is centrally located in the picturesque seaside port of Fowey in Cornwall, and has stunning views of River Fowey from some of the rooms and the garden. Fowey has a rich maritime heritage and its charming quay and town are popular with land-lovers and sailors alike. "Outside: A bridge leads from the sitting room out onto a steep rambling terraced garden with more super views of Fowey and the river from a summerhouse at the very top.

As there are quite a lot of steps the elderly and young children should take care / be supervised. There is further seating closer to the house with just a few steps to climb for those that don’t wish to go all the way up to the summerhouse.

Parking in Fowey, whilst restricted, is usually easy to find. There is a pay and display car park just a few minutes walk from the cottage (weekly permits are available).  The road through town is quite narrow but it is usually possible to briefly stop and unload or load your car outside the cottage.   Full parking details will be sent to you with your arrival information.
