About the property

An open plan ‘mews’ style 1st floor apartment with a secure garage underneath, and a large patio garden offering very comfortable accommodation for four people. 

The property has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, a bathroom, an en-suite shower room, a large open plan living/kitchen/dining room, and a walled patio garden planted with trees and shrubs, including the fig tree which gives the property its name. 

The Accommodation

Ground floor:

The apartment is reached through a secure garage with bright yellow painted doors, to a lobby with stairs to the first floor and a door straight out to the large pretty patio garden.

First floor:

Living/Kitchen/Dining room:  A lovely open plan room with large ‘floor to ceiling’ windows with views over the patio garden and neighbouring gardens and a glazed door leading outside to stairs down to the patio. The living area catches the afternoon and evening sun. The kitchen equipped a dishwasher, electric hob and electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and a combined washing machine/tumble dryer.  There’s a table with seating for four people and a large living room area with two sofas and high ceilings.

Bedroom 1: There’s a king size bed (5’ wide) with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside tables.  The glazed French doors open up to decorative balcony railings to let you make the most of the morning sunshine.

Bathroom:  This room has a bath with a hand-held shower attachment, a w.c. and hand basin.  This room can be turned into an en-suite bathroom for Bedroom 1 by shutting the lobby door.

Bedroom 2: A twin bedroom with a chest of drawers and bedside tables.  The built-in wardrobe is located just outside the bedroom on the landing. 

En-suite:  Attached to Bedroom 2, this room has a shower, hand basin and a w.c.

Outside:  There’s a large walled patio garden planted with shrubs and trees, including a lovely fig tree. There’s a table and chairs and it’s an ideal place to sit out and relax!  There is room to park one medium sized car in the garage and on road parking is usually available close by.

About the area

This holiday cottage accommodation in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, is less than a minute walk to both the beach and shops, situated on the little road that runs parallel between the sea front and the high street.

What's included?

All rental prices include bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The property is equipped with gas central heating, TV, DVD player, CD/radio player, electric hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, combined washing machine and tumble dryer and a pay phone.  A travel cot is available on request.

Restrictions

Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.

Tariff

£390 to £805 week depending on the time of year. Short breaks are sometimes available – check the availability calendar for up to date information and to book online.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
