About the property
A large, light and airy period house in a prime location on Aldeburgh sea front with uninterrupted sea views from many of the rooms. We think you’ll particularly enjoy relaxing and looking out over the beach to the sea from the large first floor living room. The house has wifi access.
The self catering house has four bedrooms: a super king, two twins and one single. The house is set out on three floors. On the ground floor there’s a porch, an entrance hall, dining room with sea views and kitchen. On the first floor there’s a living room and a large landing with seating and sea views, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. The second floor has a large master bedroom with sea views, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom with more sea views and a shower room.
Ground floor:
Porch and hallway: there’s a handy porch and a large hallway with plenty of room for your coats and boots, with doors to the dining room and kitchen and stairs to the first floor.
Dining room: This lovely room has a big bay window with sea views. There’s a pine dining table and seating for up to eight people and a window seat with cushions in the bay window. The room has great period features, including a fireplace (not in use) and period floorboards.
Kitchen: A large room with a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, a washing machine and a microwave.
First floor:
Landing with seating: Stairs from the ground floor lead up to a spacious landing, with a sofa and a small TV situated next to a window with sea views.
Living room: This room has super sea views through a large bay window and an open fire. Look to the left and you’ll see right along Crag Path to the life boat house and fishing boats on the beach. There are two sofas, two armchairs and a window seat, a TV and DVD player.
Bedroom 1: A large twin bedroom with bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe.
Family bathroom: There’s a w.c. with a further door and a step down into the rest of the bathroom, to a bath and a hand basin.
Second floor:
Bedroom 2: This spacious master bedroom has breathtaking sea views from the window, a super-king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, built in wardrobes and a hand basin.
Bedroom 3: A twin bedroom that has a wardrobe with drawers, bedside tables and a hand basin.
Bedroom 4: A single bedroom with a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a hand basin and great sea views.
Shower room: This room has a power shower and a w.c. As there are hand basins in the 2nd floor bedrooms there isn’t a hand basin in the shower room.
Outside: You are right on the sea front, so it’s just a hop, skip and a jump across Crag Path to the beach. On road parking is usually available outside the house or nearby.
About the area
This holiday cottage accommodation has wonderful sea views and is situated on Crag Path on Aldeburgh’s sea front. The seaside town’s pretty high street is just a short stroll away where you’ll find several excellent restaurants and boutique shops.
What's included?
All rental prices include bed linen and towels, gas and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The property is equipped with gas central heating, TV, DVD player, CD/radio player, WiFi (although please note that there is no helpline support for this), gas hob and electric oven, a tall fridge freezer plus an under the counter fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, and a washing machine. A travel cot is available on request.
Restrictions: Sorry, no smoking, pets or unaccompanied teenagers permitted at the property.
Tariff
£770 to £1750 week depending on the time of year. Short breaks are sometimes available – check the availability calendar for up to date information and to book online.

3. How to pay. When you have filled out your booking form you can choose to pay online by credit or debit card or send a cheque. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking. The balance and a £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit (subject to terms and conditions) are due six weeks before your holiday commences. Please note there is a 1.5% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit card or cheque payments.
